Square Enix Cafes and Bar in Japan

Despite a bit of language difficulty with trying to get tickets, I was still able to get tickets so I could attend both the Eorzea Cafe and the Square Enix / Nier cafe, as well as the Square Enix Bar. All the places are easy to get to and all of them were a highly enjoyable experience that I will definitely visit again next time!

Final Fantasy XIV Eorzea Cafe

Every menu item at Eorzea is themed on towns and events in game and taste as good as they look!

Hamburger: The sauce and the hamburger blended together to make a highly delicious meal with the sides being a very nice addition.
Summoner Drink: Sweet without being overpowering but overall an excellent fruity taste. I will order the alcoholic version next visit.

Square Enix Bar

Square Enix Artnia offers a more classier style setup with a very professional and classy setup.

Potion: A sweet blend reminiscent of honey and well presented. Wasn't to my tastes but it's something that would go down well with any of the savoury dinner type meals at the bar.
Chocolate Parfait: A giant cocktail of cream, chocolate, and more sweet treats. The dark chocolate buster sword on top was a nice touch.

Square Enix Cafe (Nier event)

The menu at the SE cafe was changed to match the Nier event with all items directly referencing characters and elements from the game.

Hamburger Curry: A nice japanese curry with a difference! This had a hamburger with cheese on top and combined with the rice and sauce was a taste better then anything you could imagine. I wish this became a permanent item at the cafe.
Pod cake slices: Vanilla and lemon cake and dark chocolate with cream.  Both delicious, well presented and was a nice way to end the meal.

Persona 5 Cafe and Merch Store In Japan

While in Japan I had the chance to visit two of the five Persona 5 cafes as well as the limited time merchandise store as well.  I was able to make two visits to the Osaka cafe branch and one visit to the Ikebukuro cafe branch.  The merch store is located in Ikebukuro and was only 5 minute walk directly west from the cafe. Persona 5 Cafe All items are presented neatly, while some specific menu items have an object that directly references the game. Here are some items I personally enjoyed from the cafes. Food Leblanc Curry: Just the right amount of spiciness, with a nice amount of meat and not an over the top amount of curry sauce. Blended together to make a nice fusion of ingredients with some small cut wedges on top to add an extra nice touch. Velvet Twincake: One slice was in the style of a vanilla/lemon meringue while the other was a chocolate cake with a crunchy but fruity base. Great way to finish off the meal. Parappa Cafe and Merch store

A short distance from the hotel I was staying at in Tokyo, is the massive Tokyo Skytree Tower. Nestled within the area is a surprisingly big area full of shops, cafes and all kinds of stores. There was also a 20th Anniversary Parappa the Rapper cafe and merch store being run as well. I was able to check out both to enjoy a nice lunch and pick up some cool merchandise too.   Nicely presented Parappa themed menu items which taste as good as they looked. Parappa Sandwich: While you may think it's just a simple sandwich it actually was amazing. The chicken was done very well and the vegetables with it amounted to one of the best sandwiches I ever had. Sunny Funny Egg Muffin: Nicely cooked egg with a great amount of yolk with some extra toppings including ham slices cut into flower petals and a side of fries to  PJ Peanut Butter and Chocolate: A nice sundae style dessert with a good mixture of peanut and chocolate with a cornflake base at the bottom of the cup. ...

5 Animes worth checking out for Q1 2018

Here is a few animes worth checking out for the first anime season of 2018. This list is in unranked and is instead just five animes that you would enjoy. For the two animes that I suggest with a season 2, it is well worth watching the first season but for the most part those two anime do not require a full 100% understanding of the first season. One of them is related other works under a similar name but for the most part is self contained. There is many other new animes and continuations of previous animes also occurring this anime season to. Enjoy! Dagashi Kashi Season 2 Dagashi Kashi is slice of life comedy focused on a group of teenagers in the countryside, and the hijinks they get up to. Most of the episodes revolve around the gang doing stuff together and Hotaru usually causing trouble or munching down a ton of candy and sweets, as one of the main focuses is that the main character and Hotaru both work in similar fields, involving snacks and sweets.
