Stream Schedule - Japan September 2018

For those not in the know, I am going to Japan once again shortly and intend to do some streams when I am over there. These will be IRL streams including talking about the trip so far, gaming/anime cafes I'm at, and other things. Some will be recorded in gaming/anime themed cafes themselves. Here is a tentative schedule for when I will go live, should I be in an environment that allows me to. These are in JST and I may have a slight delay with starting as I will have to get lined up, sit down, etc. September 15: Square Enix Bar (Night Menu) - 6pm onwards. September 16: Square Enix Cafe - 5pm onwards. September 17: Square Enix Bar (Day Menu): 12pm onwards. September 17: Boku no Hero Academia Cafe - 5:30pm onwards. September 19: Quick recap about day 1-5 - 7pm or so. September 21: Boku no Hero Academia Cafe - 4pm onwards. September 22: Small stream at TGS or possibly after. September 25: Quick recap about day 6-11 - 7pm or so. September 26 or 27: Square Enix Cafe Osaka.

3 surprise announcements at E3 2018 that would be excellent.

Image
E3 has just about started and over the next few days we will see and hear about upcoming and new titles being developed. I for one am hoping to see some cool surprises hence I have made a list of 3 announcements that would be really great to see at this years E3 event. Yakuza on Switch The series has been steadily getting more and more popular in the west and it's popularity spiked even more with Yakuza 0. Soon we will have all Yakuza games on one platform as 3-5 are being ported to PS4 with 1080/60fps improvements, and an english release of the remake of 2 named Yakuza Kiwami 2, coming soon. It would be great for these to make there way to the switch as it should easily be able to run the engine used predominately on the PS3 and early PS4 Yakuza titles, while they would just need to rework or optimize the dragon engine a bit for 6 and Kiwami 2 for switch.  Parappa the Rapper 3 for PS4 Sony and the Parappa developers have not forgotten about the amazing series, as in

5 Animes worth checking out for Q1 2018

Image
Here is a few animes worth checking out for the first anime season of 2018. This list is in unranked and is instead just five animes that you would enjoy. For the two animes that I suggest with a season 2, it is well worth watching the first season but for the most part those two anime do not require a full 100% understanding of the first season. One of them is related other works under a similar name but for the most part is self contained. There is many other new animes and continuations of previous animes also occurring this anime season to. Enjoy! Dagashi Kashi Season 2 Dagashi Kashi is slice of life comedy focused on a group of teenagers in the countryside, and the hijinks they get up to. Most of the episodes revolve around the gang doing stuff together and Hotaru usually causing trouble or munching down a ton of candy and sweets, as one of the main focuses is that the main character and Hotaru both work in similar fields, involving snacks and sweets. Games series that would be great on the Nintendo Switch

Image
Nintendo so far has had really good sales worldwide with the Nintendo Switch and is already starting 2018 strong with a great lineup of games coming out this year plus more potential surprises as other directs and events such as E3 and TGS occur. Here is a few games series I feel would be right at home on the Nintendo Switch and are perfect for both playing on the big screen and on the go. This is by no means a complete list but more of a list of games that would be a great fit for the Switch, with most of these titles already having had past releases on Nintendo platforms already. I am open to any other great series that you feel would be a perfect addition for the Switch. Danganronpa Series The Danganronpa series has done amazing worldwide and would be right at home on the Switch. They could easily make a collection with Danganronpa 1, 2, Ultra Despair Girls. 3 possibly could be in the collection but it would take a whole cart itself. Digimon Series

Tokyo Xanadu Thoughts and Opinions - Vita version with PS4 notes to come later.

Image
While Falcom are a more niche team then most other JRPG developers, they still manage to make some all-round amazing games that are enjoyable. Recently their titles, both new ones and older ones, are slowly coming out in english more and more. After a two years wait, Tokyo Xanadu, a recent title they developed, was released on the PS Vita in English. The PS4 version is to be released later in the year. This review will focus on the Vita version, but once the PS4 version releases and I have finished all the new content, I will add an extra section down the bottom that will give my opinions and thoughts on the changes, additions and overall package of the PS4 edition. I am very much looking forward to it!   This game might share some similarities with Persona but also tries to be its own thing and does it very well. Tokyo Xanadu starts off interesting straight of the bat, as within the first five minutes of the game the protagonist finishes his work for the day and gets
